Frequently Asked Questions

Cricket Counter uses iCloud and WatchConnectivity to sync your match data between iPhone and Apple Watch in real-time. Your iPhone acts as the primary device, and all changes sync automatically. Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple ID and have Bluetooth enabled.
In cricket, you can take wickets on wide balls and no-balls. Long-press the "+Wicket" button to access options for "Wide + Wicket" or "No-Ball + Wicket". This records both the extra delivery and the wicket in one action, just like real cricket scoring.
You can set any number of overs from 1 to 50, or choose "No Limit" for unlimited overs matches. The app remembers your last setting as the default for new matches. You can change the total overs in Settings even during an active match.
Cricket Counter maintains a 24-level undo/redo system that preserves complete game state. This includes overs, balls, wickets, and delivery history. Even complex actions like undoing after "over complete" properly restores the previous over state with full delivery history.
Yes! Cricket Counter works completely offline. All your match data is stored locally on your device. Cross-device sync will resume automatically when your devices reconnect to WiFi or cellular data.
Cricket Counter supports Apple Watch Series 4 and newer, running watchOS 10.0 or later. This includes Series 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and Apple Watch SE (1st and 2nd generation), as well as Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2.
Go to Settings (gear icon) and tap "Reset Innings". You can choose to start from 0.0 or start from a specific over.ball combination. This action cannot be undone, so use it carefully.
This can happen if the devices haven't synced yet. Make sure both devices are connected to the same WiFi network and Bluetooth is enabled. Try opening the iPhone app first, then the Watch app. If the issue persists, restart both apps.
Legal deliveries and wickets show as cricket ball icons. Wide balls show as "W" in a circle, no-balls show as "NB" in a circle. Wickets are indicated by green "W" badges below the delivery icons. This gives you a clear visual history of every delivery.
Use the Digital Crown to navigate between 5 main screens: Main (scoring), Extras (wide/no-ball), Wickets, Undo/Redo, and Settings. Tap the screen to perform actions on each screen. The crown provides smooth navigation without covering the screen with your finger.
The free version includes access to all Cricket Counter features with ads displayed. You can score unlimited matches, use the full undo/redo system, sync between iPhone and Apple Watch, and access all scoring features including wickets-on-extras. Upgrade to Premium to remove all advertisements.
The free version shows banner ads and occasional interstitial ads between scoring sessions. Ads are served by Google AdMob and are relevant to your interests. You can limit ad personalization in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Personalized Ads (Off). Premium subscription removes all advertisements.
All Premium subscription management is handled through the App Store. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Cricket Counter to view, modify, or cancel your Premium subscription. You can also access this from the App Store app by tapping your profile icon and selecting "Subscriptions". The free version with ads requires no subscription management.
Premium subscription removes all advertisements from Cricket Counter, providing a completely ad-free scoring experience. You get the same powerful features (unlimited matches, cross-device sync, 24-level undo, wickets-on-extras) without any banner or interstitial ads. Premium also supports ongoing development of new features.
To remove all ads, upgrade to Premium through the app. Tap the settings icon, select "Remove Ads", and choose the monthly subscription. You can also upgrade from any paywall screen that appears. This immediately removes all banner and interstitial advertisements.
Yes, you can cancel your Premium subscription at any time through the App Store. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Cricket Counter and tap "Cancel Subscription". You'll continue to have ad-free access until the end of your current billing period, then the app will return to the free version with ads.
